Job Description: OMAX Waterjet Operator

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an OMAX Waterjet Operator/ Manager. We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate OMAX waterjet machines to cut various materials according to job specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, checking abrasive levels, and cleaning machine components.
• Ensure machines are set up correctly and operate efficiently to meet production goals.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with production team members to prioritize jobs and meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety protocols.
• Document work performed, including maintenance activities and production logs.

Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the operation and maintenance of OMAX waterjet machines.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality in all aspects of machine operation.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials and work in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus.

Training:
