Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Transmission Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading the design and coordination of high and extra-high voltage (69-500kV) transmission line projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Design high and extra-high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
• Prepare construction documents, including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation assembly drawings.
• Develop specifications and project design criteria.
• Provide on-site field support during construction.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• HVDC experience is a plus.
• Travel to client or project locations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering may substitute for one year of experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of transmission line design experience.
• Proficiency in scheduling and budgeting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Prior consulting or utility experience is preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Ability to travel and work in the field as required.
