General Shop Helper

A well-established manufacturing facility is looking for an eager and hardworking individual interested in learning the trade. This position offers hands-on training and opportunities for career growth across various departments, including shipping/receiving and general shop support.

Responsibilities:

• Perform light shop tasks as needed
• Assist in different areas of the shop (moving jobs, emptying chips, helping machinists, supporting shipping/receiving, etc.)
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow safety guidelines and shop procedures

Qualifications:

• Some shop experience preferred
• Hi-lo/forklift experience is a plus
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Details:

• Shift: 1st Shift
• 700-hour contract-to-hire
