Job Title: Steel Fabricator
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM; some Saturdays required)

Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled Steel Fabricators to join our production team. This role involves fabricating and assembling high-quality steel components per customer specifications, participating in all steel fabrication processes, and ensuring products meet internal and customer standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review work orders, build sequences, specifications, and shop drawings to understand project requirements

  • Layout, cut, fit-up, MIG weld, drill, tap, and fabricate steel bases, structures, reservoirs, and hangers

  • Assemble components as part of overall projects and perform rework or repairs as needed

  • Ensure all welds are complete and meet quality standards

  • Maintain accurate documentation, including inspection records, MTRs, and red-lined drawings

  • Record hours worked for each production process in manufacturing software

  • Manage material control, including requisitioning, stocking, and maintaining inventory

  • Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and product quality

  • Follow safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company guidelines

  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Required Qualifications:

  • MIG welding experience

  • Ability to pass a welding test

  • Ability to obtain a Forklift License

  • Ability to obtain a Crane Operator License

  • Proficiency in basic math and reading a tape measure

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in steel fabrication in manufacturing or industrial environments

  • Familiarity with ISO quality standards and safety compliance
