We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 8th Grade Math Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching mathematics, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. As an 8th Grade Math Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, fostering a positive classroom atmosphere, and helping students develop a strong foundation in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction and Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and engaging math lessons aligned with the curriculum standards for 8th grade. Adapt instructional methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

• Student Assessment: Regularly assess student progress through tests, quizzes, assignments, and projects. Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student growth and address areas of improvement.

• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning. Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a respectful and productive atmosphere.

• Individualized Support: Identify and address the unique learning needs of students. Provide additional support and resources to students who require extra assistance to meet learning objectives.

• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, including other teachers, administrators, and support staff, to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to the school community.

• Professional Development: Stay current with educational best practices, trends in mathematics education, and changes in curriculum standards. Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching skills.

• Parent and Guardian Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral issues, and academic achievements. Organize and attend parent-teacher conferences as needed.

• Record Keeping: Accurately maintain and update student records, including attendance, grades, and other relevant information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field preferred 
• Experience teaching math at the middle school level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.
