Project Coordinator

Job Summary:
A direct hire opportunity is available for a Project Coordinator to support engineering and construction projects. This position involves close collaboration with the Project Manager, with a focus on ensuring effective communication between clients, vendors, and project teams to meet project and program requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate communication among vendors, suppliers, clients, and project teams.
  • Prepare and deliver meeting notes, presentations, and reports using Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and other tools.
  • Manage project setup, maintain documentation, and track project milestones and deadlines.
  • Support the preparation of monthly progress reports, including updates and action items.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings, including orientations, stakeholder discussions, and team reviews.
  • Provide updates on project cost forecasts and review unbilled expenses with the Project Manager.
  • Set priorities and manage deadlines for project deliverables.
  • Develop and implement procedures related to project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a relevant field with 2-3 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with accuracy, strong organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Primarily an office-based role.
  • Occasional travel or fieldwork may be required.
