Commercial Lines Account Manager

  • Provide exceptional customer service

  • Answering customer questions & concerns in an effective manner.

  • Making changes & updating policies as needed

  • Possess knowledge of insurance industry changes and trends

  • Networking with clients to build & maintain relationships

  • Maintain and develop product knowledge through participation in educational opportunities.

  • Comply with Agency Procedures & Adhere to agency service standards and timelines.

  • Utilize agency technology and software applications including agency management systems (TAM), document management systems and workflows

  • Re-market existing accounts

  • Back-up New Business when needed

  • Collaborate with producers and other team members to address client service needs.

  • Adhere to the commercial lines guidelines and processes

  • Assist in the preparation of summary, proposal and other documents

  • Review policies and other documents for quality assurance in accordance with agency procedures.

  • Identify and covey account rounding and cross sell opportunities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Michigan Property & Casualty License

  • Team oriented

  • CISR and/or CIC certified  

  • Time management skills

  • Computer skills

  • Multi-tasking skills

  • Critical thinking skills
