Operations Manager

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:                   
Manage APQP Program Management staff responsible for new & current production programs.    
Provide support to Program Managers during bi-weekly APQP meetings & in development of program documentation.  ie. B.O.M., Program timelines, open issues, component description sheets.     
Participate in daily quality meetings.            
Manage program tooling costs within budget.         
Maintain & improve all documentation related to APQP Dept.       
Participate in cross-functional team for source selection; ensure work orders & supplier P.O.'s processed.  
Participate in new business quote meetings. Responsible for creation of engineering documentation.
Strong interior experience.
Be able to assign projects/tasks and manage control plans.
Strong problem solving/root cause analysis.    


Educational/Work Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.  
Minimum 5 years experience in design or engineering of automotive interior trim.  
Significant experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Project Manager.  
Detail oriented and highly motivated.
