Purchasing Agent

Bruce Township, Michigan
Duties:
  • Stay up to date on the latest machinery, tooling and material trends/deals
  • Prepare and submit purchase orders for tooling, materials and machinery
  • Verify receipts and payments
  • Manage delivery for all purchased goods
  • Resolve any shipping, payment, or inventory issues
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships
  • Purchasing control; keep appropriate paperwork and documents needed for future purchasing reference
Requirements:
  • Purchasing experience – thorough knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures
  • Inventory control experience
  • Strong knowledge or experience with metal tooling/materials is a plus
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong communication, time management and organization skills
