CNC Lathe/Mill Programmer/set-up tech (1st or 2nd shift)

- Job Title: cnc lathe/mill programmer/setup
- Job description and requirements:
- programming (new jobs) on CNC lathes and/or CNC Mills from detail drawings
- attending APQP meetings and giving input on new production job launches
- Performing machine set-ups on repeat production runs
- Helping production operators change tooling and troubleshooting production run issues
- Must have experience with production fixtures (manual and hydraulic)
- Minimum 10 years CNC programming experience
- Minimum 10 years of set-up experience on CNC mills and lathes
- Must have own tools
- Must have experience with Fanuc controls
- Must have experience machining aluminum and iron castings in a production environment.
- Manual and computer cnc programming experience
- Pay rate:
- Depends on experience
- Shift and hours required:
- 1st shift
- 6am or 7am start time
- M-F (8hrs, 9hrs, or 10hrs per day)
- Saturday’s (0hrs, 4hrs, 8hrs, or 10hrs)(depends on workload)
- Sunday’s (occasionally)
- 2nd shift
- 3:30pm start time
- M-F (8hrs, 9hrs, or 10hrs per day)
- Saturday’s (0hrs, 4hrs, 8hrs, or 10hrs)(depends on workload)
- Sunday’s (occasionally)
- 1st shift
