Sales Process Manager

Leetonia, Ohio
Overview:

The ideal candidate for this position will assist the Head of Sales with internal and external sales processes. They will analyze markets and help the company stay up to date with trends and technical developments. The ideal candidate will balance and form new customer relationships and develop contacts at high levels within the industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings
  • Can effectively manipulate and manage ACAD drawings
  • Knowledge of machining processes
  • Having knowledge of the thermal, furnace and steel industries
    • Strong technical knowledge of industrial furnaces whether in heat treat processing lines and/or reheating.
  • Can personally handle all aspects of international contracts,
    • Amending
    • Writing
    • Negotiations
  • Excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Can work well under pressure
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Able to travel with short notice (internationally and nationally)
  • Proficient in Auto CAD, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
Physical Requirements:
  • 25-50% international and/or domestic travel required (travel is mainly throughout North America)
  • Light physical effort
    • Sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required; Master’s degree is a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of the metal industry
  • 5+ years of technical capital equipment sales management level experience
  • Strong sales process management experience
  • 10+ years of experience in the furnace industry
