Office Assistant/Bookkeeper

Job Description

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to Managers
  • Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Reconcile credit card statements & bank reconciliations.
  • Enter journal entries prepared by accounting staff
  • Enter basic vendor A/P bills
  • Email remittance detail to vendors for online bill payments
  • Administrative experience
  • Follow up with employees and candidates 
  • Enter Job Orders in system 
  • Contact and screen candidates 
  • Experience with Excel, MS Office
  • Experience with Quickbooks Online and/or Desktop
  • Excellent written and oral communication skill
  • Detailed, Accurate, and Timely
  • Dependable with good work ethics.
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Utilizes Organized Systems for Efficiency, Compliance, and Effectiveness
  • 2 years’ experience in accounting, bookkeeping or banking
  • Maintains Effective Working Relationships with Other Employees
  • Maintains Confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Great work ethic and professional
